Timeplanned is operated by CQUELLE GmbH in Hamburg, Germany, and is built for the GDPR from day one. This page explains in plain language where data is stored, which providers process it, and the rights you and your students have. Hosted in Germany, data in the EU
Timeplanned runs on servers located in Germany. Uploaded images and generated documents are stored with Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt (eu-central-1), and transactional email is sent via AWS in the same region. Your data does not leave the European Union for hosting.
AI-assisted features (like the onboarding import) run on AWS Bedrock in EU regions.
Your students' data belongs to you
As the teacher, you control your students' records. Every student and their attendance, packs, and payment history is reachable from your account — nothing is buried where you can't export or delete it.
You can delete your account yourself at any time; deletion takes effect after a 14-day grace period in case you change your mind, and then removes personal data.
Payments
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. Card and bank details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and never touch Timeplanned's servers.
If you collect from your students by SEPA direct debit, mandates and bank details are likewise handled by Stripe on its infrastructure.
Cookies & analytics
The marketing site uses Google Analytics with Consent Mode: in countries that require consent, nothing beyond essentials runs until you agree. The app itself contains no advertising trackers.
Subprocessors we rely on
Stripe (payments), Amazon Web Services in Frankfurt (email delivery, file storage, AI features via Bedrock EU), Google (optional sign-in and calendar sync you connect yourself), and Microsoft (optional Outlook calendar sync). Each processes only what its job requires.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can access, correct, export, and delete personal data. Write to [email protected] from your account email and we'll handle it — usually the same week, always within the legal deadline.
